Some of his achievement include designing and presided over the development of Prisms, Sage, Envisage, and IMAGES. In the last 16 years our products and services have been used by over 30 Pharmaceutical companies. One of his contributions is the Perceptual Mapping System which helps identify the 20% of customers who contribute 80% a company’s business.

 

David was responsible for negotiating a JV with IMS Health to commercialise our software in Australia and New Zealand. David has worked as a Medical Representative with Ciba-Geigy Australia, Product Manager and Marketing Research Manager with Glaxo Australia and Marketing Director with Computer Ad Australia.

 

He also has 11 years of teaching experience as a High School Biology Teacher, Lecturer in Economics and as Lecturer in Sociology.

 

David Holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, Master of Arts degree in Economics, Master of Arts in Sociology, Master of Arts in Public Administration, Master of Arts in Political Science and a Diploma in Higher Education.

 

FRANK DOMANTAY, BSBA, BSPA, M.Admin, QPMR (AMSRS)

Frank Domantay has over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, more recently as Senior Manager, Market Research with Bristol Myers Squibb Australia.

 

In his 17 years with Bristol Myers Squibb Australia, Frank’s achievements include the introduction of the company’s ETMS/SFA system in early 1980’s, administration of the government tender business for BMSA, 3 years assignment on major market research projects in the Asia Pacific Region covering both Pharmaceutical and OTC products. He initiated numerous new product market research studies in Cardiovascular, Hypolipidaemics, Anti-Psychotics,Anti-Thrombotics, Oncology, Anti Infectives and AIDS. He also instigated a multitude of market research projects in effectively managing product life cycles, new project reviews and assessments, business operations and process reviews. During his last 3 years with BMSA, he personally conducted field market research on numerous major business operational processes amongst both key internal and external stakeholders. These include projects such as the use of e-Business tools amongst key customer groups and review of promotional activities and expenditures amongst all Bristol Myers Squibb subsidiary companies in the Asia Pacific Region. This led to identifying processes needing improvement and great financial savings to the company.

 

Frank comes from the Philippines. After graduating with a double degree in Business and Public Administration, he initially worked as a Market Analyst with Daily Foods Inc., and then as Market Research Assistant with E.R. Squibb & Sons (Philippines).

 

In 1972, Frank migrated to Australia and joined Glaxo Australia to set up their marketing research department as Market Research Manager. Whilst at Glaxo, Frank completed his Masters in Administration from Monash University. 1980 he moved to Nissan Motor Co. (Australia) as Market Plans Manager to help launch the Bluebird and Pulsar passenger vehicles. In 1982, he joined Fowlers Vacola and Australian Hostess Industries as New Products and Business Development Manager and launched a number of innovative household, industrial and automotive component products. In 1984 Frank joined Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) with multiple roles in Marketing Research, Sales Administration and Product Management.

 

Whilst working in the pharmaceutical industry, Frank was actively involved as an executive member of the Australian Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group and held the Chairmanships of two committees: Training and Professional Development and Industry Surveys. Frank is one of the early QPMR (Qualified Practicing Market Researcher) recipients of the Australian Market & Social Research Society.

 

Frances A. Walls

With over fifteen (15) years of management experience in the healthcare industry in the US and overseas, Ms. Walls offers a wealth of knowledge in global business practices and has a unique interest in international health and development.

 

Experienced in business planning, marketing, operations, and information technology, Frances generated million of dollars in revenue and cost savings for Fortune 500 and Fortune 200 companies. She holds national awards for coaching and mentoring, and is an international speaker on e-marketing.

 

As a presenter and lecturer, she conducted number presentations on e-technologies and advancing the role of technology in addressing the needs of key players in the healthcare arena. She has presented for such entities as the Pan American Health Organization (Regional Division of the World Health Organization), New Mexico State University, Bristol Myers Squibb, the United States Department of Commerce, Georgetown University, to name a few.

 

Ms. Walls holds a Master of Public degree from New Mexico State University and is a Doctoral Candidate in Business Management at the University of Phoenix. She also possesses numerous certifications in such areas as project management, and organizational leadership.

 

Presently Ms. Walls specializes in strategic planning and project management consulting for mid to large size organizations in the healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries. Ms. Walls promotes operational excellence and quality-based performance through strategic direction and hands on assistance with the identification, integration, implementation, and adoption of process improvement models and technologies.
